I can't remember how to get to the rock art panel I photographed or even what it is call because I found it by accident. Here is a list of other sites in Zion's National Park. Because of the damage to the sites very few are given directions to. Please ask a Ranger how to get to these sites. Sacrifice Rock is the easiest rock art site to get to in Zion National Park. Look for a single, flat rock located about fifty yards east of the the south entrance to the park. There is a small NPS sign by the Petroglyph. There are nice Petroglyphs in Petroglyph Canyon, Clear Creek, Spry Canyon, Cave Canyon, and on Mt. Kinesava. Direction need to be obtained from the visitors center. Warnings Even though a river runs through the main canyon, everyone should carry their own water since there is very little if any shade. Summertime temperatures can reach well over 100 degrees. What to see There are 26 know sites for either rock art or ruins in Zion's National Park. History Once again the Fremont Indians are responsible for leaving their graffiti on the canyon walls. Remember Leave No Trace! The Native American rock art can be ruined if they are touched. Please don't touch, trace, chalk, or wet the panels since this can destroy the artifacts. Please do not pick up or removed any items either. The panels have been here for thousands of years, please help them remain here for thousands more.
