Going south out of Ferron, Utah toward Emery, Utah turn off at milepost 22. At mile 3.5 you have reached a paved intersection turn left. i believe the pavement ends. Follow the dirt road. At mile 7.6 you have reached the Moore Cutoff panels. Map Warnings Even though these boulders are locate along the side of the road, these is still no water available, so be sure to carry extra water for yourself and for you vehicle. Also since the road is gravel and bumpy, a spare tire may come in handy. What to see Located to the side of the road is several large boulders. There are two nice snakes. Also 50 feet to the side of the road is a nice set of dinosaur tracks. They aren't very clear and look like a line of bumps leading up the boulder. There are also more petroglyphs in the area but at the time I don't have the directions to find them. History Once again these were created by the Fremont Indians. Remember Leave No Trace! The Native American rock art can be ruined if they are touched. Please don't touch, trace, chalk, or wet the panels since this can destroy the artifacts. Please do not pick up or removed any items either. The panels have been here for thousands of years, please help them remain here for thousands more.
